Reverse Polarity Protective Relay, 6Vdc

The Reverse Polarity Protective Relay is designed to protect the alternator rectifier diodes from the damaging effects of reversed battery polarity. 

 

Relay #9-9 is designed for use with all 6 volt Motorola alternator systems and other 6 volt alternator systems with capacities up to 125 amperes.They are not recommended for use with alternator systems using transistor or transistorized voltage regulators with the exception of Motorola's Electronic Alternator System.
